Got my SLJ Leadership Summit Oct 2009 Invitation & registered today. Means I’ll be in DC twice this year–NECC & SLJSummit! Life is GOOD.

I tweeted this same sentence above, and read almost immediately in the next posted tweets that my virtual friend Buffy Hamilton (the “Unquiet Librarian”) has registered too! We finally get to meet up in person. I haven’t heard who else is going yet, but it’s pretty assured I’ll get to reconnect with friends from all over the place.

I am so looking forward to participating again this year! Now to ask for the day off (just one school day) in my new job. I must market it as an honor that I attend since it is “invitation only.” Wish me luck.
