Kick it!
Mar 1st, 2009 by Cathy Jo Nelson
Haven’t tried it myself, but KickYouYube seems to be one of the latest greatest ways to get a YouTube off the ever blocked YouTube site for school. I’m certainly going to give it a try. It seems every week someone is asking me how to snag a YT video for school since they cant access it at school. There are a number of methods (my favorite has been Zamzar) and it seems the newest media players even allow for snagging vids. But I hadn’t heard of KickYouTube. Thanks to Jim Gates and his TipLine where he shared this in my reader today. I’m off to kick a few and try this out.

Thanks for this link. There is so much worthy You Tube video out there for professional and student learning. There is a need for speedy helpful conversions.
Yes, Zamzar and Vixy are great too. It’s nice to have some choices, and I personally like it for conference & workshop presos where connectivity is not always reliable.
I tried this a while back.. and guess what? Its blocked. Go Figure.
