I’m never far from my network of friends

As I visited the many links to nominees tonight, I glimpsed my own face on one of the blogs—Bit by Bit by Bob Sprankle. Bob has a widget on his sidebar that is from the My Blog Log Reader Community. If you are a registered user, then the widget will show everyone other registered visitors reading there. It was a pleasant shock and surprise (not to see my face but instead) to see several familiar faces of members of my own network. This screen capture shows that recent readers other than me were Chris Betcher, Sue Waters, Alice Barr, and Liz Davis, all four ones I can call friends in my virtual network. I’ve met and hung out with Liz and Alice, and had many conversations via twitter and blogs with Sue and Chris. That was just a pleasant surprise, and reaffirms that great minds think alike.
