Coming Soon– “A Techstravaganza”

I’ve written plenty of grants before, most of them small time grants, and I’ve been a contributor to some really big ones. Since moving to the beach, though, I had taken some time off from grant writing. I suppose I had become burn out–but a more likely explanation is that relocating means a lot of acclimation time and getting to know your school, colleagues, students, and more.
So I waited until the end of the year to finally decide okay i can do one. Last spring we had a grant opportunity come across my desk. I had followed a string of tweets form Karl Fisch about a Techstravaganza he had either at his school or in his district. It gave me an idea to do something similar, only in mine, i would have students presenting project based learning that used technology , and present their work to parents at an evening event. So now I have $1K to implement this idea. Thanks Karl!
