Last week I posted a comment on Doug Johnson’s blog about filtering, yes that necessary filter educators reckon with daily. Yes, I compared the weirdness that ALA would sponsor rebels with a Banned Book Campaign Annually but have not even remotely addressed our 21st century censorship issue–that of filtering.
My comment even somewhat dared him, and Doug did not disappoint! GREAT graphic Doug! I may have to proudly display this by the silly “censorship causes blindness” poster I have. Wonder if ALA will take the bait? LOL.
I am not holding my breath with ALA. They are SLOW to change.
