Professional Development or Soapbox?

Today a drove over to my neighboring county to speak with their local chapter of the National Council of Teachers of English. My topic was web evaluation. Here is my slide deck and links shared in my session. It was a lot of fun, and it’s amazing what i had in common with this group, as well as the things I was asked to share about that apparently I’d been pretty vocal about in my virtual spaces (publishers and ebooks as well as YALSA’s closing the door to openly sharing book lists.) I love it when groups allow me to have my soapbox moments!!
