Our first formal production
Nov 29th, 2007 by Cathy Nelson
My sixth grade students ( a group of about 8 girls) put together a video for our morning news show on locker care. Not expert, but good enough! I’m sharing here. All was made here at school. Almost 3 minutes in length. A little rough around the edges.lockersmov.mov

Guess I need to upload to YouTube or teacherTube to have it play here. Bummer. Still trying to figure it out.

Nice Job on the video !!
I enjoyed their work. If this is only your first try, it will just keep getting better! Will you write a blog entry to tell us how you created it? I’d love to hear what equipment you used, how long it took, what you had the kids do in order to make the video. Go Cathy!
Using YouTube makes having videos on your blog much easier. Just paste in the embed code and you are all set.
Hey Cathy,
I want to see your video, but was unable to open it on my laptop. I will try on my desktop tomorrow at school. We just had all new lockers installed at our school (the students have been carrying everything in backpacks for the last 2 weeks) to accomidate our growing numbers on the correct grade level halls. We have now gone over 1010 students! They moved into the new lockers today – a lot a happy faces! Paula
Hi
You may want to try TeacherTube, particularly if you are going to have students and families view them from your blog.
Just an idea
