SCASL Webinar Thursday, Jan. 20

Okay last night we (the SCASL IT Committee, under the leadership of Chair Heather Loy) held another playground session in Opal (our webinar/conferencing service) and had a number of folks drop in. We are now ready to begin offering some webinars, and our very first one is scheduled for this Thursday, January 20, 2011.
Please do not fret if you missed either of our playground sessions this week. The program is fairly intuitive and their will be members in the room to assist with difficulties you may experience. I personally think the low turnout for the playground sessions was due to our session title not being “sexy” enough. But I do believe the one planned for Thursday has broad appeal to many of you in school library land. I hope to see a significantly larger group this Thursday. Here is the title and description:

This is an informational session for you to ask questions and/or share your own personal experience with your favorite eReader.
