We took another fall drive this morning. I swear SC upstate is just now seeing the leaves fall off the trees. Even though I did not see any news folks say we were at peak color, could have fooled me. My long drive back and forth to work these last two weeks has been beautiful. We even took Willow this morning as we took some small branches and limbs to the recycling center. He found the ride very entertaining, especially the stop to gab (gobble gobble) with these two wild turkeys. Believe it or not they practically walked right up to the car to have a conversation with me, but I couldn’t get a photo for having to hold Willow back, not to mention my husband saying, “We have to go since we are holding up traffic.” I am tagging this photo #onlyinSC! It was a pleasant drive, though now my car is front to end covered with long cat hair–my bad. I can’t complain, as this week the temps have been at or just above seventy degrees Fahrenheit, and so even though I did put away my sandals, I can still wear shorts and a sweatshirt in the morning and evening. Hope everyone has a gloriously Happy Thanksgiving 2010! I’m off to Charleston, SC to have dinner with family at my sister’s house.
