Tony Vincent just shared this in my Twitter feed and I had to laugh: 12 Page eBook – A New Way To Lecture: Using Web 2.0 to Create Interactive Lectures http://tonyv.me/newlec. Recently I had a conversations with Chris Craft about what I really dislike in presentations–>sit and get. He challenged me to think of ways to improve presentations mistakes that I dislike the most too, and record a video to send to him. He used it in his UTC presentation. He had two other videos that were excellent!! Wish I could share them. Here it is:
Tony shared this e-book style self help on improving the “lecture” which tends to be (in my experience) the worst offender for “sit and get.” Wonder if my principal will allow me to “present” this to faculty? I may have to go rogue and just do it.
