Merry Christmas

Does anyone remember when all the TV channels showed nothing more than a Yule Log burning on TV for Christmas? It seemed even TV stations needed time off for family holiday fun. Tonight we spent time at my Mom’s for Christmas Eve festivities (food, fun, presents, etc.) and tomorrow we as a family will drive to Nashville, TN for my oldest son’s Christmas present–to see the San Diego Chargers play the Tennessee Titans. Okay not my idea, but he did not want anything else for Christmas. What’s a set of parents to do? So for Christmas we gave him his one request, and then son#2 got a promise for tickets to see the St. Louis Cardinals this summer (hopefully while I’m at ISTE 2010 in Denver, Colorado.)
Over the next day or so I’ll be off the radar a bit–that is UNLESS I figure out that new Droid phone of mine (my Christmas present!!) As you consider the warmth of this fire, also remember the reason for the season. Merry Christmas y’all!
