Cathy Jo,
Im working on my Lib. Media retake (need 28 pts). Any suggestions for Entry 2: Fostering an Appreciation of Literature when working with a high school science class? ( Why science? This is a teacher who really collaborates with me.) I want to use movie clips (that coordinate with specific books) to entice students to read science fiction & non-fiction. (This lesson will also lead into a semester long independent research project & we want to hook our stuents into choosing some exciting / different topics.) What is stumping me is how to address the requirement "offer students the opportunity to make inferences or interpretations of the literature used in the lesson". Any thoughts will be appreciated.
