I will definitely suggest this too. Im sure the laptop loan will be nixed, BUT power cord, a recharging station, and accessories (camera cords, ipod cords, etc.) will surely only increase in need. I’ve read any number of comments about conferences where Internet access was chancey, at best. Surely organizers can come up with better solutions than having attendees bring a hardware store with them.
I try to travel lightly, and laptop, iPhone, chargers, extra battery, extensions, etc. would leave little room for clothing. I’d pay to rent some of these bits of equipment so I didn’t have to tote pounds of accessory. Maybe some enterprising person could start up a rental business!
