@Sarah-if I need you I am glad I can count on you!

@Marji-Ive not really done a UStream of my own conference, but with some help and a decent camera, I may just do it. I'd have to ask permission of course by the conference organizer. By being here in the blogosphere, you are already demonstrating what a capable and prepared LMS you will be. WOW, I'm envious. I remember my first LMC job in an OLD library (bookwise anyway). I didn't know anything then. So you are definitely one giant grand-daddy step ahead in the game.

@Melinda - You just have a great end of the pregnancy and enjoy that new baby!! I tickles me pink to know you still read me.

Cathy,
I'm hoping that you will USTREAM the workshop. I'm currently setting up the brand new library at Cub Run Elementary.

http://www.rockingham.k12.va.us/CRES/librarymediacenter.html

Follett delivered the "Opening Day Collection" on Memorial Day.
We shelved them and now I need to add the school library media label on the title pages and a second barcode in the back of each book.

I love your topic of Web 2.0 tools for library media specialists.

This will be my rookie year as a LMC but I still can dream big. I hope to use Skype with our students to chat with international students and authors. Using Voicethread for book reviews will be in the lesson plans. My population will be 488 elementary students in PreK-5.

I'm happy to help out if the time zone allows, and if you want someone from further afield (I'm in New Zealand). But I am a midwifery educator, not teacher. cheers Sarah
