Most people who live in the country areas have large Roo or bullbars on their cars to protect themselves. It’s also another reason why many drive 4WD vehicles in country areas. Many people have been killed as a result of hitting kangaroos. Unfortunately Roo bars are an issue in our cities as they are very dangerous to pedestrians.

I loved the kangaroo video on your flickr site. It sounds like kangaroos are a lot like white-tailed deer here in the south. They are just no longer afraid of people, and will graze right by a big highway, an some do get hit by cars. Mankind is invading their space more and more. Maybe you can hook me up with a class and we can have our kifds do a comparison of the two for fun.

Make sure you check out my video of kangaroos on Flickr as well. Well my hubby’s name is Dave and our email address is that combination. When I first ventured onto the web I grabbed the easy option and used that. Now I’m feeling conflicted. Twitter gives you the easy option to change usernames without losing followers but I’m not sure if I should do it. Feels almost like having a divorce.
