There is always next year. 2007 was the year I met a lot of my online friends I have met through social media/networking and I will agree with you that these people are definitely real. Twitter has been the single most engaging social network I have ever been a part of and I think it will continue to be for the near future. As I am starting to engage in the EdTech community, I hope I will have the same “real” connections I have made through the social media communities.

It was great meeting you and wonderful to know that our Online friends didn’t turn out to be Internet Predators. Quite the opposite, the people I met were smarter, nicer and more engaging than I could ever have hoped for. Meeting you was also one of my highlights of the trip. Can’t wait to do this again.
