I was thinking of using my last name, Robb, and get a domain like blogrobb or blogorobb but like Jennifer said, is that too cutesy? It’s not an easy decision as you don’t want to regret your decision after you put all the work into the changeover.

I am debating about mstina, but mstina.com is taken. I thought about my name tinasteele.com, but it’s taken. I was afraid if I start putting in my middle initial it would get too complicated. I am still feeling frustrated. You received some good comments that have helped me. Let me know what you decide on and if I find something that works, I will let you know too!

(sometimes a cute name, might be outgrown in a few years………)

And because of that……..
I would suggest that you buy the cathyjonelson.com name — your blog can be anything you wish off that — such as cathyjonelson.com/technotuesday — etc.

It is a bit decision — but remember that your name will drive them to the site. And it won’t be hard for people to remember your website –

Once you get them to your site — then you can direct them any way you wish.

Can’t wait to get this going!!

Remember that with bluehost you get a free domain name that becomes the root of your account, so you could make that your principle page (for folks looking for you, conferences, etc) and you could have blog.cathyjonelson.com as the blog, moodle.cathyjonelson.com etc etc etc. Additionally with bluehost you can host as many subdomains as you like, and as many addon domains (as long as you pay the $10 per year) so you could have cathyjorocks.com on the same account.

I came up with my blog name somewhat randomly (Kevin’s Meandering Mind) although I knew it would be a place for exploration all over the map. And it has, probably to the detriment of my (two) readers (including my dad — ha).
I’m sorry I don’t have a name for you but I am confident something will sit right in your mind and you will be relaunched.
