		<description><![CDATA[Thanks Cathy... I know you are writing this and I agree with you 100% about the role of the media specialist. And most people who read your blog are members of the choir! But how can we make this document the tipping point for all media specialist? With the bad economy we are in, I see district leaders/coordinators of the media specialist are being cut and that job is being combined with so many other jobs in districts. How can we prevent the role of the media specialist from loosing their stronghold?  You and all other media specialist should be the hub of activity in a standards based curriculum.]]></description>
