Cathy, It was fun flipping through your slide deck. Will Richardson's quote is most meaningful to me. It isn't until we play and get comfortable with the tools that we can share them well with students. I'm going to have to hear the Mightygirl4 story when we finally meet in person. You're right about the Zen slides requiring a person to be there. I've been using SlideBoom now and then because it allows me to upload slide notes as well. You just have to click the cc icon to see the notes.

It was definitely brave of you to go with the cloud, but from the first comment it seems like it was well worth it.

The following thought resonates with me 'As educators, we must embrace these tools, harness them for our teaching context, and channel them for engaged learning." We not only have to embrace but we must discover ways the tool intersect with content and pedagogy.

It sounds like a wonderful presentation.

MEMO members were truly awed and honored by having Cathy and Buffy present and expand our horizons on a beautiful fall weekend in Central Minnesota! I was able to access Cathy's info throughout her presentation, upload it to my Google Docs, jot down comments to go with all my sessions in an ongoing Google WP doc....it was terrific. I had opened Word for my notes, but once I was in Google Docs uploading links and docs, it didn't make sense not to take my notes there. Thanks for encouraging us to work in the cloud as well. I wonder if all of us looking down at our Droids or laptops was distracting....but really we were paying attention! Thank you so much for traveling to our clime...you are a great role model! I've already sent your links and ideas off to my colleagues.
